Moss Gift Tags

Happy first day of spring! Wanna know how to transform an ordinary shipping tag into something extraordinary?  Stick with me…

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Shipping tags – I found a great selection at Staples
  • A roll of peel-&-stick moss – Michaels
  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch

Here’s how ya do it:

  1. Cut a piece of the peel-&-stick moss slightly larger than a shipping tag.
  2. Remove the paper on the back of the moss to reveal its tacky side then place firmly on the tag.
  3. Punch a hole in the top of the tag and insert twine.
  4. Your done!

Okay, how easy is that AND you have a really cool and creative gift tag to adorn your Easter gifts!  Happy crafting!

  1. These are ADORABLE. I didn’t even know peel-and-stick moss was a thing, but now I’m dying to find some. I looked at Michael’s yesterday, and on their website; this is the only thing that seemed similar online – http://www.michaels.com/Peel-N%27-Stick-Moss-Monogram/30653,default,pd.html
They didn’t seem to have it or anything else like it in the store, and I can’t seem to find anything besides vinyl wall decals on Amazon. Any ideas? Do you know the brand name for what you got?

    • Hello and I’m sorry you’re having such a challenging time finding the peel and stick moss rolls. I did find the rolls at my local Michaels craft store. If there’s one close to you, try looking at AC Moore. At AC Moore the product is the 16″ X 18″ Peel N Stick Mossy Mat Brand. Good luck and thank you for visiting my blog!

  2. I am really inspired together with your writing talents
as neatly as with the layout for your blog. Is this a paid subject matter or did you modify it yourself?
Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to peer a great weblog like this one these days..

  3. Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a totally
different topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Wonderful choice of colors!
